Lakefront Studios is equipped with state of the art recording equipment. From start to finish, we take the time to get the sound that you, the client, are looking for.

Our facility is equipped with two ISO booths, totaling 16 inputs and 4 individual headphone mixes. These run into our Yamaha DM2000 Recording Console, giving Lakefront 24 simultaneous tracks of recording capability.

We also have the option of recording surfaces, including the latest DAWS and or the 24bit 96kHz hard disc recorder. Within our DAWS setup we’re running a UAD Effects card along with TC Powercore card. 

For a ‘vocal microphone/mic-pre’ combination, we use the BLUE Dragonfly with Avalon 737sp. This industry standard gives the vocals a shine and fullness that makes for a difference you can hear.

Along with having an impressive front end to our recordings, Lakefront Studios also has full MIDI capability. This setup is all tied to the MPC2000XL and/or an 88-note weighted keyboard, which is than attached to outboard gear from Korg, Roland, and Esoniq & EMU.

We try to make ourselves able to accommodate anyone and any genre of music you may be interested in. This also goes for the different file formats that you may have material recorded on. We’re able to bring in various formats & various mediums, just let us know ahead of time.
